A small circle.
A closer connection.
Share your device ID. Approve a request to connect. You decide who gets to find you.
YOUR PEOPLE. ONE CHECK-IN AWAY.
For the “where are you?”
and the “see you soon.”
Find the people you care about with a simple request. They choose who can ask. WiTrack checks a location, then lets life carry on.
Part of the Wira Apps family ↗Try a check-in. This demo never uses your location.
INTERACTIVE DEMO · SAMPLE DATA
LESS IN THE BACKGROUND. MORE IN THE MOMENT.
A simple way to check in, with thoughtful controls behind every request.
Share your device ID. Approve a request to connect. You decide who gets to find you.
A request starts a brief location check. Collection stops after a result or timeout, without a continuous GPS stream.
Pause sharing, remove someone's access, or delete your device data. The controls stay with you.
FROM “WHERE ARE YOU?” TO “SEE YOU SOON.”
Choose a step to see what happens. Automatic sharing only starts after the owner has approved access and enabled it.
Share your public device ID with someone you trust. They add it in People, and you approve their request. Connecting in the other direction needs a separate approval.
CLOSENESS, ON YOUR TERMS.
A connection is an invitation, not unlimited access. Location sharing is optional, and you can change your mind.
A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING.
Still have a question?
Let's talk ↗No. Remote requests trigger a bounded location check after sharing is enabled. Opening the map also checks your own location once. WiTrack does not keep a continuous GPS stream running.
No sign-in is required. Each installation has a device identity. Share the public ID to connect, then approve who can request your location. Cloud connections still store device information; see our privacy policy.
It is designed to respond in the background with location and notification permissions enabled. Internet access, phone settings, and battery restrictions affect delivery. A force-stopped app may not respond. Instant delivery is not guaranteed.
Every result includes its capture time and accuracy. A recent request may be reused for up to 60 seconds. If a new result is unavailable, the app does not present an old result as a fresh fix.
WiTrack is currently in development for Android 8 and newer. No public Google Play release yet. iPhone support is not included in this version. Visit the project on GitHub for development and setup information.
